Yes this is from HL2, if you are unfamiliar with the game then you probably noticed there is no DOG in the picture. In Half-Life 2 Alyx's (girl on right) pet is a robotic scanner converted, most likely by her father, for her to play with and to be a companion.
Anyways this is one of my first vectors of this style that isn't overkill with effects so I can still call it a vector. :P Also my first try with grass. Enjoy!

Who doesn't love American muscle?
I used a lot of gradients in this vector, I wanted to try something new and I'm happy with the end product, though I think I'll cut back in future vectors. I spent a lot of time on the wheels and tires. I made the tires in photoshop, and imported them into Flash. I wanted to add depth and texture to them to make them stand out against the black background. I like how it turned out. Besides the tires, everything else was vectored using Flash. Sized 1024x768 for your wallpaper convenience.
About the car: For those who don't know, Yenko was legendary for their tuning on both the Camaro and the Nova. This Camaro sports a 427ci engine putting out about 450 hp. This is the epitimy of the American muscle cars of the late 60's and 70's. Retro-rific.

Latterly i've been interested in vector...so i've created these vector walls just for fun. hope you enjoy these.
In zip i have included 1024x800 and 1280x800 sizes.
Customize Win's Send To menu
One of the lesser-used Windows features (at least in my mousing habits) is the Send To option in the Explorer context menu. Right-click on on file and choose Send To to open it in an app, create a shortcut on the Desktop, or copy it to another folder or disk. Lifehacker reader Howard Dickens customizes his Send To menu to zap files around his PC:
If you have several applications or several folders that you regularly use for images (or indeed other objects, links or filetypes) then why not add those destinations to your 'Send To' menu. I also group these as applications an folders.
Add shortcuts to these applications of folders in the (hidden?) "SendTo" folder. The "SendTo" folder is located in the C:\Documents and Settings\
When it's done you can simply pipe any object into your favourite application. Or write it to you favourite folder - or USB drive location.
